Target: Increase service to people of all ages, with emphasis on the needs of families and older adults.

Recently renamed the Ruddy Family YMCA-YWCA, our Orléans facility opened in 1996 and has rapidly grown to play a major role in enhancing the quality of life in Orléans and its neighbourhoods. .

On average, 800 people walk through our doors each day in Orléans.  Last year we served 90 families in child care; 200 in day camps; and more than 4,000 families and children in fitness classes and community sports leagues.

One of Canada’s fastest-growing communities with a population over 100,000, Orléans has had a stunning 16%, six-year growth rate between 2001 and 2007Expansion is desperately needed to meet the growing demand and to provide convenient, quality services close to home.
