Y staff provided support to the Ball organizing committee, welcoming guests to the National Gallery of Canada and the magical evening that was to be the Viennese Winter Ball. The Y’s Capital Campaign was the recipient charity for funds raised by the Ball.
Bruce Hillary Guests learned about the Y’s major fundraising campaign from Bruce Hillary, Chair, Community Division for the Capital Campaign.
A vision in white and black, debutants and cavaliers wait to enter the Ball.
The young people learned to dance traditional Viennese dances, which they performed with grace and charm.
Auctioned off during the evening was the chance to conduct the Grand Salon Orchestra to the tune Puttin’ on the Ritz.
The Y looks forward to the next two years as we continue our association as the recipient charity for proceeds raised by the Viennese Winter Balls.
